About Us
Class and Course Finder was founded by Tascia Maré in April 2009. Tascia holds a Bachelor of Learning Management degree (Primary) with distinction from the CQ University, Rockhampton. In April 2009 she was awarded the prestigious Catholic Education Rockhampton Diocese prize for the highest GPA in Religious Studies, together with the CQ University Mackay Learning and Innovation prize for the highest GPA in Learning Management. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the IMM Graduate School of Marketing in South Africa.

The original idea for this website, was sparked by an interest in teaching, in art and in craft-type classes. Having only lived in regional and rural areas in Queensland, Tascia found that there were no dedicated online directories to search for classes and courses in these areas - and so Class and Course Finder was created. This idea later developed to incorporate a wider range of classes, courses, workshops, training sessions, lessons or tutoring facilities. So, whether you want to improve your current academic or career skills, have moved to a new town or want to build a new social network through a hobby or sport, then Class and Course Finder can help you investigate the best classes and courses in your area that will help you enhance your true potential.

The number of searchable categories is growing all the time. This is a young and exciting new concept. We're looking to provide a unique service to people wanting to enhance their careers, to update their skills or simply meet people through a fun and creative class. The website will be constantly expanding its categories to list a broader range of classes and courses in your area, so keep coming back to check our new listings!

Our vision is to provide a one-stop, easy-to-use online directory to anyone in search of classes, courses, workshops, training sessions, lessons or tutoring in rural and regional areas in Australia. We aim to eventually provide the widest variety of listings to allow users to find the greatest number of classes and courses in their geographical and/or interest area.

Mission
Our mission is to offer a range of value-for-money membership options to our providers. We will endeavour to partner with them to ensure that these companies or individuals, are able to list their quality services and product offerings.
